Supervision
The BACP describes supervision as, "A specialised form of mentoring provided for practitioners responsible for undertaking challenging work with people. Supervision is provided to ensure standards, enhance quality, advance learning, stimulate creativity, and support the sustainability and resilience of the work being undertaken."
How I work
I offer supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors using Hawkins and Shohet’s 7 eyed model.
I have a diploma in the clinical supervision of therapists working with children, adolescents and adults from Terapia in London and I love developing a collaborative, lively relationship with my supervisees.
As a university lecturer on a MSc in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, I enjoy offering supervision to student counsellors from other organisations. You can be confident of my knowledge and support as you complete your training. I offer written reports at no additional cost.
I can also support you to complete your BACP accreditation process, if this is your aim.
I offer restorative, educative and creative supervision which will encourage and empower you to grow in confidence and expertise.
Please see my blog for a little more information on my supervision work.
Supervision is usually 1.5 hours per month, but we can discuss your requirements. The fee for 1.5 hours of supervision is £60. I may be able to offer a discount to trainee counsellors.
